The MEGA Project will achieve results related to improved educational access and quality for minority children and improved stakeholder contributions and collaboration in support of minority education.
MEGA will seek to draw on best practices in Muslim education that have already been developed in India and will bring to bear EDC experience in other countries. It will also seek to leverage resources from local groups to support program implementation while striking strong partnerships with local NGOs/Foundations, State governments and leaders within the Muslim communities in each state to ensure that the interventions take root and can be sustained. Below is a set of illustrative indicators and targets. It is likely that this will be updated, refined or changed based on the outcome of the knowledge gathering and assessment activities scheduled during the first and second quarters of FY 2010.
